The Essence – David Beckham
- It’s cheap!
- Fresh grapefruit scent, which is a cut above most cheap colognes.
- Great for the young or young at heart: fresh scent, smells like summer.
- Packs and carries very, very easily.
- Comes in an anonymous bottle that looks like a hip flask (I couldn’t ask for more!). DB’s logo is embossed in the glass and is virtually invisible.
- Good as a stand-in room deodoriser.
In summary, this is an economical, fresh-scented cologne with a pompous name that is useful for a refresh during the day or to pack for a weekend away. Hip flask style bottle fits very easily and snugly into a jacket pocket, backpack, briefcase or overnight bag, and looks cool. Makes an excellent stocking stuffer for Christmas.
NB: Like all cheap cologne The Essence will not last a whole day or anything like it.
